PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP)

The Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) facial, popularized as the ‘vampire facial’ is a treatment that uses the plasma from your blood to help stimulate skin cell regeneration in the area it’s applied. This treatment isn’t just a trend; it has real skin and hair care benefits.

10 Benefits of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Treatments

It’s 100% Natural!

PRP uses your blood to plasma which the practitioner then injects into the desired areas, not chemicals. This means it’s the ideal procedure for anyone who feels worried about injecting foreign substances into their body.

A Treatment for Hair Loss

When your plasma is injected into the scalp, the growth factors in your blood cells help stimulate your hair growth cells to produce thicker hair over time.

No Going Under the Knife

Avoid invasive treatments like facelifts with PRP. It can get you the results you want in a short session without having to worry about an intensive procedure.

Get Help with Acne Scarring

It’s hard enough to go through acne without scarring as a constant reminder. PRP can contribute to your plasma to diminish the look of acne scars.

Little to No risk

Since PRP uses your plasma, there’s very little risk of side effects because the material comes from your body on top of the low-risk factor of the treatment as a whole.

Increase Volume In Your Face

The PRP process helps your body produce more collagen in the treated areas, naturally. This increase in collagen can help restore volume to areas that appear sunken.

Recovery Time is Short

There’s little to no recovery time associated with the PRP treatment. You may experience some redness in your face but this will dissipate and won’t hinder you from going about your daily life.

Say Goodbye to Wrinkles and Fine Lines

A fantastic benefit of the PRP treatment is that it can help significantly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This means you can get a more youthful look in a short period without going under the knife.

Help Rejuvenate Tired Eyes

If you’re tired of people telling you that you ‘look tired’ then PRP can help you get a more rejuvenated look. The increased collagen from PRP is perfect for adding volume to areas like under eye circles.

The Effects are Lasting

The last thing you want is results that only last for a short period. But people that get PRP treatments report having results that last for several years.
